Grief and
Bereavement Services

Our team of experts understand the five stages of grief (Denial, Bargaining, Depression, Anger and Acceptance) and stand alongside the patient and their families. We provide the following services (but not limited to):  

​

  • Helping in arranging final journey arrangements

  • Bereavement support groups led by our staff

  • Home visits from chaplains, bereavement specialists, Volunteers and other staff as needed

  • Telephone support

  • Memorial services

  • Community resource referrals for different support groups

  • Bereavement letters of support

  • Educational and resource materials as seems necessary for loved ones

Engaging in conversations about end-of-life care is important and should not be postponed. It is crucial to openly discuss your preferences, values, and thoughts regarding the continuation or withdrawal of medical treatments as you near the end of life.
